Open floor living offers great function for families, but it can be tricky to find boundaries across a large space. An accent wall, floor coverings and color cohesion divide yet make the spaces feel connected.
With a lot of warm wood tones in the room - thanks to the existing floors and family heirlooms - we grounded the space with a more modern palette and vintage flair.
Paint selections
Natural stone is beautiful but not always forgiving in an active kitchen. We compromised with a marble backsplash complimenting the durable quartz countertop.
Incorporating personal decor, succulents, and family art will win any kitchen over.
